new daddy hood
« on: 23 October 2010, 19:31:05 »

Just wanted to say how privileged I am to be a daddy. She's 14 weeks old now and has been part of my reason for minimal posting... (still do reading when I can, still got three poorly Omegas to sort!)

The joy and smiles Jessica brings lift me every time I see her. The cries are just a way of communicating and her singing is to die for. :) :) :)

Saying this for any other new dads, new dads-to-be and potential-dads. I found the pregnancy unbelievably hard, unlike my wife!, but it's all amazing now.

I know it's not everybody's choice, but if it's yours, enjoy.

Oh and now I'm looking at new cars with a whole different agenda with regards to space for a buggy and paraphanalia, their safety etc but still comfort for me. Been test driving like mad, lol!

Omega's just seem too small now, but I love them to bits.... it's a hard decision!

Anyway ttfn, it's feeding time.

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

being a father is the greatest feeling you can have. i love being a dad and am very over protective of them although they are both boys and growing up. i reckon i would be either loaded or living abroad or both if i never had them. dont regret 1 single moment  :y :y

I'm a dad of a 25 year old son. Family life isn't really for me nowadays but i've just spent a lovely afternoon with my God daughter Ellie Mae. She's nearly 2 now & is developing such a strong character. She's my "Baby girl" & i adore her.
   Good on ya!!!!! 8-) :y

your first is marvelous and what an experience...i couldnt cut the cord on my first i was too emotional(overwhelmed)but my second was easier and still one hell of an experience when you witness new life coming out of your wife,i had an enormous feeling of protectiveness when my two girls were born i would of killed or died for them but then when my boy was born that was every fathers dream to have a boy and there he was i am so proud of him and to top it off
WE HAVE ANOTHER ON THE WAY
bloody ell im only 35 and am promised that she is now happy and that is it
congratulations by the way it only gets better :y
