That's the problem though, 'tidy' ones are pretty much non existent.

My mate traveled up to Yorkshire (from Bristol) to buy one the other week after viewing several other shitboxes.  This one is in good condition when you consider the age of the car, but it still needs a couple of arches and a new sill welded in, not to mention silly little things like the seat height adjusters freeing up and the like.

They are fetching strong money nowadays.  A true Modern Classic in my eyes.

and I had a Senator parked next to the omega that succeded it. I knew I should've got shut of the Omega when it died on me after a fortnight of ownership - crank sensor/DIS pack - and I'd just been told of the looming redundancy. What I paid for the Omega would have easily sorted the paint & sills that the Senator needed.
C'est la vie!   :( :(

I sent two 24v Senators in good runniing order to the scrappy 5 years ago. Both had just over 100,000 on the clock, lovely leather interiors, digital dashes, perfect mechanical condition etc.
Dreaded tinworm from the rear doors back had made them beyond economic repair. If I had them now, it would probably be worthwhile fixing them. The scrap man didnt even give me a fiver for the pair of them. :'(

Actually .... they're not as fast as a 3.0 Omega 149 vs 152 IIRC . But that's not the point!  ;D  ;D  ;D
