hi there. got a 96 elite, have a small problam if any one can help. Im trying to remove my dashbord center console and cant. Ash tray and screws are removed at the bottom. All switches are removed but i cant get it off the top. It is climet (buttons) any help would be fantastic cheers, Thomas.

Bit more about the car. 96 body b elite. black 18" fuel wheels. lowered, black xenon headlamps. irmcher grill. few other bits to make it look sweet.

Engine:

Courtney Sport CS10 Gas-Flowed cylinder heads,
Courtney Sport highlift sports camshafts,
Courtney Sport remap,
Courtney Sport lightweight flywheel,
Courtney Sport uprated clutch,
Courtney Sport 4 bar fuel pressure regulator,
Enlarged throttle bodies,
Gas-Flowed inlet manifold,
Part Samco Sport silicone hoses,
Fredrich Motor Sport 3-2-1 exhaust manifolds,
Bastuck stainless steel exhaust system,
Hoffman sports cats.

The lights were off ebay but that was back in 2007 as well so might not be getting sold anymore.

Engine was done at 91k its on 108k now and all is still well

But like i said i would like to get it mapped again soon.

Not much modification on the exterior, just a BIG ASS ENGINE!

Just out of curiosity, how much does that kind of engine tuning cost?

I have receipts for the engine work alown for about 5k you could prob get it all done alot cheaper but its just the fact that al the work was done by courtney's.

Its good fun though. Not so much the speed but the down right power. The low end torque. 50 to 100 in 5th gear is blinding.

Its a 3.0lt, the plenum is an enlarged courtny sports peace. 280-300 would be my guess. Am looking to get it remapped and dynoed again soon as it has a bit of a flat spot around 4k and would like to know what its runing true. Its a courtny spots map at the moment. They done al the work back in 2007

Ah right cool, im not too familiar with courtneys work on omegas :lol: what kinda power is it putting out?

Its had a fair bit of engine work. I would like to think its about 280/300 bhp. But its more about the torque to be honest. really does put you back in the seat

Not really thought about it to be honest mate. would like to get in on a RR at some point. dont really know were to take it. back to courtneys maybe. Maybe when there is a RR day on some were i could pop down. Not really thought about trying my 0-60 times. might have a go at some point and put up some figures

how long does it take them as standard? 7/8 ish?

Got the day off work, kids in school and wife is in training. So i thought i would take advantage of the good weather and give the car a good wash and go out to try and get some more exciting photos. Let me know what you think.
