I've always used Mobil 1 fully synthetic on a rough half time change basis for the past 30yrs and never had engine failure/wear problems but I'm now seriously considering the GM fully synthetic :y

It sure is priced to the extreme, although the last time I did ok,I did post up about my luck, I still have 5Lt from that deal with Halfords and will shortly be doing the 2nd change. What happened I managed to source some at the right price at the local accessory sharks, and they had it priced on their website. Simple's!! laptop up to Halfords for their won't be beaten on price deal, so then got a double ration, something else I feel I should mention is I've never had to do the oil breather jobbie, just done miggies inlet manifold nozzles for lpg and I checked the breather system and it was as clean as a whistle, as they say, I know this may be down to eye on oil colour for change and not a brand /type issue :y
