Think I might be the youngest, as someone I think mentioned me lol. I'm 18, dob 29/12/1989 and mine is a 2002 CDX 2.2 manual, alas not the 2.6 someone thought it was. But on times I wish it was. And yep, it's mine...not parents. I've had it since the 28th of May this year. I was paying £341 per month for insurance, but have found a better deal now.

Tradex offer homefleet, for anyone with 3 or more vehicles. This is for anyone, not just traders. Take a look, just type tradex into google. They also do specialist risk insurance, and one of thier categories is ''The Enthusiast''

Have a look at tradex, they have differing policies, they're not as the name suggests only for traders.

Thanks to everyone for their advice and comments, but especially 'bappy'. You've saved me so much money it's unbelievable. If you're ever up oxford way, there will always be a pint for you, in fact you can have the whole bloody brewery with the amount of money and stress you've saved me. Went to elephant.co.uk added parents and they quoted me £1455.72 I couldn't believe it, that was great. Therefore I've decided to keep the Omega, it's off the road atm as I've cancelled my previous insurance from Swinton. Just waiting for a bit of money and then I'll take up cover with elephant.

Hello all,
Just wondering what you all think the value of my car might be? It's nocturno blue with the empire grey velour interior and wood. Usual facelift CDX spec, xenon's, cruise, dual climate, sunroof etc. Only done 33,000 2.2 petrol on an 02 plate.
I'm only 18, and I love this car to pieces, however the insurance is cripling me at the moment. I have to pay £341 per month and have been doing this since 28th May this year. I can't see any other option other than to sell the Omega very reluctanly. I don't want to just cancel my insruiance as I have allrady paid a lot into it and would like to make it up to my 1st years ncd.
Any ideas on price or advice would be greatly appreciated.
