Value of 2002 Omega 2.2 manual CDX with 33,000

Hello all,
Just wondering what you all think the value of my car might be? It's nocturno blue with the empire grey velour interior and wood. Usual facelift CDX spec, xenon's, cruise, dual climate, sunroof etc. Only done 33,000 2.2 petrol on an 02 plate.
I'm only 18, and I love this car to pieces, however the insurance is cripling me at the moment. I have to pay £341 per month and have been doing this since 28th May this year. I can't see any other option other than to sell the Omega very reluctanly. I don't want to just cancel my insruiance as I have allrady paid a lot into it and would like to make it up to my 1st years ncd.
Any ideas on price or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have I got this correct......you are paying £341 each month to insure  a 2.2 Omega at 18 years of age........that's £4092 each year...surely not. :'( :y

Go to elephant.co.uk and add your parents.

I paid £1450 for a modified 3.0 at age 19, and then £1000 at age 20.

My advice is... if you have the space, take the omega off the road and get a pile of rubbish group 1 insurance car to use until the end of may, then get a new quote for the omega in may, get rid of the pile of crap car and get the omega back on the road

if this is not possible, the omega is worth £400 and I have cash ;) ;)

i got a quote for my daughter to be placed on my insurance for my 2.5 cdx, i was quoted £2074 ontop of the £265 per year i already pay for fc ins, needless to say, i wont be insuring her

also to be honest, i am a firm believer that until the age of 22 your should only be allowed to drive 1098 cc or less, by law, i think that in reality a person younger than that does not have the seasoning to drive a bigger more powerfull car

Bet you would not have said that when you were 20 ::)

Had a tuned Chevette HS when I was 19  :)........made sure daughter only had a 1.2 clit when she passed her test though.Wasnt just her age,she couldnt drive a pig with a stick. ;D

How insurance has changed over the years. I had my first V8 when i was 19 & that didn't cost me any limbs to insure. I agree with baconbuttyman, all young divers should restricted to a small engine for the first couple of years. They are with bikes ;)
