indicators 2.2dti

indicators on my 2.2dti failing ,seem to flash once and go off ,which is the relay or could it be stalk.

the relay lives under the steering column, to the left of the diagnostic socket and the lower/bigger of the two ..... the tallest one there  :y

worth pressing the hazard switch 20 or 30 times, but gut reaction is the flasher unit. Generally mega reliable though

Hi there, Did you ever get to the bottom of your problem as mine has started doing the same today. Just going to try the hazard switch just now. I did use the hazards yesterday when I broke down so may be that caused it.

Is your battery well charged? When mine gets very low - just enough puff to start the car - I've had the indicators and hazards doing all sorts of weird things sometimes accompanied by mental sounding maracas from under the dash. Charge the battery back up and all is well, and quiet, again.

Aye the battery is fine, the indicators have been fine all day today strangely got myself a spare flasher unit in the car now anyhow, just incase.
