Stupid cow in a huge milk float who nearly ran me down. Looked to see if anything was coming, no indication from her so i started to cross over the local Tesco express car park entrance. She just drove in so i had to jump out of the way.

Answer phone message not saying who they are but get in touch about something I cant make out, will have to try and listen to it tomorrow. BTW its my landline.

HS oppsing 2 and their oppsing shitty temporarily realigned roads. With potholes.

£270 for a tyre - the old one was only fitted in October - and £75 to straighten the wheel, if they can.


All for a oppsing train line that nobody wants and is costing us all a oppsing fortune. Well, those of us that pay tax, anyway.

Would you believe nobody can get a tyre in under 2 days.  FFS.

Looks like we'll be using her car this weekend.

Still, could be worse, the hire car I had today - some shitbox, Vauxhall 208 maybe? - is in a very puke inducing shade of Slezyjet.  Not quite as bad as STEMO's old snot colour....

The official Vauxhall colour of mine was phlegm green.

Asked by a colleague if I could cover his shift Monday night.
Jumped straight in and said yes,  then realised I will be starting seven shifts in a row tomorrow morning, so a 99 hour week.
Oh well, think of the money I suppose.  ::)

just 13 nights?  ::) Many many years back, we regularly did 19 nights out of 21, had 2 nights off, ad infinitum for 3 or 4 months. Then the same again for the next couple of years. Of those 19 nights, 14 or 15 of them were 12 hours.

I don't do nights anymore though!  :y :y
