Noticed it was even slower than normal. Still, beat the beemer to the roundabout on a dual carriageway, because, ironically, the beemer got stuck behind an outside lane hogger...  ...another beemer ;D

Got 12 months ticket on TBE, only adviso on rear pads being low (yup, they are within a knats whisker of metal on metal, due to shite tyres).

Stuck in a slow queue of traffic from Kidlington to Banbury, I saw a Laguna at the front. I said to Mrs TB how ironic would it be if it was her dad. "Never, he always drives at the speed limit" was the shirty reply. You can guess the rest...

Took the battery out of the Omega and put it on charge as it no longer had enough juice to lock the doors.. 10.8V, might finally be terminal for that battery.

Now I don't know about you lot, but I would like to think that the pad warning light would have come on when the inside pad it was attached to started to melt :-\ as suggested by the area of scorching on the trailing edge...

On the plus side, the sensor was still serviceable and the outside face no longer has a ridge on it ::)

Pads replaced as a short term measure, as the discs are almost at minimum thickness :'(
