Omega General Help / Advice on a loose hose on my 2.2cd please
« on: 24 February 2014, 14:59:01 »
got car back last week after getting new cylinder head gasket replaced. now getting a 0443 regarding emissions. Anyway found this pipe doing nothing and don't remember it being there before. Appears to be at least 12 inches Long and not connected to the block. Anyone any ideas . could it be a breather pipe that the garage have replaced?or should it be connected to something that I cannot find and is giving me the error code. I know there was a breather pipe at the back of the block but cannot remember it being so long.

Cheers for the post. My 2.2 is beginning to suffer the same fate, every time I start the engine you would think we have a new pope anyway was contemplating attempting doing the head myself  now you have given me a bit more confidence to tackle the job? Will wait until you post some pics. cheers

Interesting, how does it work? Hard wired in?

just bought other set of leads for omega. very simple to connect. Sound is very good and as I said no interference or fiddling about with frequencies? I purchased from amazon very reasonable. the CD in my 2.2 has never been changed presume it's the 2005 and it works fine

Was sick of buying cheap Bluetooth adapters for my phone then having to program the radio to a frequency for really poor quality sound. seen the Motorola TK30 and it's brilliant, sounds great and synchronises as soon as I get in the car.

Omega General Help / Alarm/Power sounder
« on: 19 June 2013, 10:51:38 »
Is there only one plug to disconnect from powersounder. had problems with alarm going of and decided to go off at 3 oclock this mornig. So out of bed in the dark and thumbled about, loosened screw and got my hand under the scuttle and pulled a 2 wired plug, success a thought no more alarms going off and a will not get linched by my neighbours. Came into wirk for someone to tell me the alarm is going off on my car. Could that just be the last of the battery draining or did I pull thewrong plug.
