It's a simple equation, in my opinion. Fat bastard+sports car=NO! Clarkson needed to be physically extracted from some of the cars he shoehorned himself into, and he kept kneeing himself in the face.

The Crossfire is a rebodied SLK. Get underneath and they're pretty much identical  ;)
So that sounds like a good reason to avoid the ugly wannabe :)

Its unclear what the OP wants.

A sports car as in a fast, well handling car?

A sports car as in a pure posing fanny magnet?

Top down option, or coupe?

OP has already stated the smaller cars are unsuitable, and that larger ones are more preferable, so I'm guessing more of a "look at me" type car rather than a fast, well handling car?

"Sports cars" mean different things to different people, so probably need a bit more clarity from the OP on requirements :)

No they're not. The cat breaks up, and the pieces go back into the engine. Then you need a new one. Just like the hatchback it came from. And there's nowhere to put your shopping…….

Well you’re a real ray of sunshine this morning Nick.  ;D

F33 430d bmw, hard top to convertible in a few seconds, and reasonably sporty and economical. Plus I recall TB saying how cool I looked whenever he see me in mine.  :y  8)

I think that’s what he said anyway.  ::) ;D

Budget doesn't change the list any except for newer or more exclusive/interesting cars... £5k buys a tidy SL350, £20k buys a nice previous generation 500/600SL, £30k will get a nice 80's 500SL or a nearly new one and £50k will buy something that even the Snowflakes will think is cool in a retro kind of way...

I think deep down he is happy with his lot in life as long as it wasn't engineered in Germany. Or France*.

Is it just me?

Whenever I hear the word 'fanny' I always think of a hairy minge so beloved by butch dykes.

Whenever I hear the word 'pussy' I always think of a silky smooth delight. :-* :-* :-*

I'm guessing it's because fanny is an old female  name, and also an old name for female 'bits'

.......and back in the day female bits were hairy.  ;D

And both are American for arse ;D

Either way 'moist love pocket' are three words that should never be used together :-[
