Another simpleton question
« on: 21 April 2022, 18:37:46 »

This one I definitely can't find the photo for... where on earth does the headlight ECU mount? I know it's up under the OSF wing but can I bugger remember where... a photo would be handy!

Above the suspension compressor outside the inner wing.

Mount's vertically with the plug pointing forwards iirc.

Bracket held on by two screws and only goes one way... Wiring dictates orientation  :y

Alas it doesn't have a compressor. In fact it doesn't have any suspension to compress right now...

And the wiring is currently coiled over the other side of the engone bay.

I'm being so helpful aren't I....

I presume that you remember where the compressed used to be  :P

Did you just go out and whip your wing off? Now that's real dedication to the forum  ;D

Fair enough.

Next time, the compressed mounts lower down ;D

A picture paints a thousand words though, much easier to remove/refit with the wing off because you can actually see what you are trying to do  :y

Worked a treat! Newly re-engineered bracket now attached... just another ten thousand bits to go...!
