Aircon? Doubt you'll need that for a couple of months.

With the Battlebus now being her daily until she returns regularly to the office, do I bother fixing the aircon, replace it with something with aircon, or just ignore it ;D
Option 3

Why make life more complicated than it needs to be  :P

has the skin grown back on your hands from when you where working on the rad fan months ago ?
You might want to order in a few pints of matched blood if you intend replacing the condenser on the Zaf  ;)

Replacing the Zaf with anything that will handle the abuse and lack of maintenance would be costly  :D
it's got windows and a sunroof if it gets sunny ,
the money saved would buy a lot of  cold Soleros. magnums, bottles of prosecco etc  :)

Hmmm, yes, I just remembered why I hadn't changed the intercooler on it, and that will need to come off to do the condenser.

We shall re-evaluate when she has to regularly get back on the M40.

Washed both cars to get the winter salt off.  I think that's the first time since lockdown started 13 months ago ;D

Obviously in this sun, its streak central ;D

Tried with limited success to wash many weeks of pigeon shite off one side of Airfix 1. Its been parked tight against the side of the house, under the old TV ariel and the pigeons  covered it.
Ive never seen anything quite like it. I wish I had taken a pic before I washed it.
Fired it up and took it for a sound thrashing.
All around the cambelt end of the engine appears to be nice and dry, and free from oil leaks.

Its pissing out somewhere around the back of the engine now though.  >:(

Indeed. Although its encounter with a box of swan vesta is looming very near.  ::)
Want to get it done because I have a couple of jobs to do on the Omega and a list of jobs I want to do on the Boxster.
Plus the fuel bill this month has been eye watering.  :(

Do Pierre properly so you have transport to work and back, the other two can be done at your leisure over the warm months. Porsche second, so you plenty of summer left to kill enjoy yourself, omega last because there's no hurry.

Hitched the caravan to it ( Range Rover) and driven down to Battle for a few days, lovely drive down 166 miles towing a twin axle van & absolutely relaxed best tow car ever.

Probably not "the best". Whilst the Disco, and thus its drag artist brother the RRS, is a fabulous tow car, I suspect a FF RR is better still :)

Put a load of electric pixies back in the Pussy.  Need to get a few more in today as well.

In the last 2 weeks, its probably been started 20 or 30 times, and done less than 200yrds....

Absolutely no difference at all TB lots of discussions about this on the RR forum all can pull superbly a complete relaxing & tireless driving experience the FF & RRS are exactly the same forget the V6 version though considered to be an absolute dog.

Tried to find coolant leak on daughters Corsa D 1.4 petrol. Had the mirror and torch all around it with engine running, no visible run line but coolant weeping out of lowest point of engine to bellhousing join. Definitely weeping out of the join. No coolant trace visible up higher from the plastic part usual suspect, no coolant in oil or oil in coolant so pressure test required. Unless they put a core plug in the bellhousing it looks like I'll be taking the head off. Water pump and thermostat are at the other end so not either of them.  :-\
This is her 'fix things when they break' car, so the service history is dire.  ::)
