30mm (from standard, 15mm from LSC) is about the lowest you'd want to do on UK roads. Even then, when reasonably loaded, its a problem.  I was driving off a driveway the other day, but due to angle, couldn't go down the dropped kerb, and got beached. It wasn't a high kerb either.  Any load at all, I striggle with the speed bumps around here.

At 40mm (below standard), I'd be constantly wrecking the cats, exhaust mid sections near backbox, and diff.

In addition, with a 40mm drop (from standard), you'd have to spring it so hard to prevent suspension movement, it would be unbearable.

To be fair i really to get under and check whats on already as it does scrap the plastic spliter on the mv6 bumper when going over some speed bumps and that must only be what 20mm itself

Mine's sat on a big fat set of 19's (265/35/19) , dropped 40mm... Had zero issues so far but it was like it when I bought it so don't know how the handling's been affected... Holds tight in the corners and still very torquey for a fully loaded beasty!!  :y

265...? Not on the front, unless there are some very odd offset issues in your favour...?

If the offset was enough to clear strut, at 40mm drop, there would be tyre/wheelarch contact.  I suspect the 265s are on the back, and 235 or 245 on the front :)

Actually, yes, quite so. I know, and don't ask how I know (;D)that my 265 rears will not physically fit on the front. Not even close ;D

Oh, those will be the REAR tyres then. :-[ ;D
