'Cats hit' coverters...
« on: 07 November 2011, 14:59:21 »

Urgh!! Didn't get to have my sump off this weekend as planned, but instead I had to right a wrong I had from a 'floor meets floor' incident down the local single carriageway dirt track.. My exhaust was blowing in several places. Now closed up all the gaps, just some iffy joins from the previous exhaust replacement. Anyway I think my cats took a knock, as they sound rattly and horrid, I suspect I've knocked the internals and it's now starting to block up, as its starting to sound like it's trying to force gasses out before the cat and I've started to notice a steady increase in fuel consumption. I figure the straight foreward cheapest answer is to swap them for secondhand items, but, given the value of precious metals, can't see id pick up a pair for less than £100??? But anyway one thought led to another and I decided I'd be as well to buy a pair of 200 cell universal sports cats.

Anyone got opinions on these?? :y
