Checked both cars over and started them up for the first time after having both my hips resurfaced five weeks ago today.I missed this post, Tigger. That's quite a big deal with your hips, I hope you are back to your athletic self very soon. Dysplasia, early onset arthritis, with a bit of femoral acetabular impingements thrown in for good measure. In fact just like an old dog M'Lud! |

There are at least 8 RHD part numbers. Can't narrow it down without a lot more info, so you really need to get a part number of the current unit. Thanks guys. The car is stick at the welders as they wanted to do a small bit at the front while they had it. Thus, I can't go and check part number etc. Should get it back later this afternoon, fingers crossed. |

Yes it does lock up sometimes during cranking only for a split second before continuing to crank. It doesn't use any coolant or oil. Will check earths and starter.
