General Car Chat / Dealer prices

Just been to the dealers for a few bits, so I asked them how much a new cat was for the 3.2 and the answer was £1050 + vat but we don't do them anymore. Just as well at that price. That's each side by the way.

New oil cooler kit for 3.2 is £165 + vat so £198 but that's not trade price. Looks like dealer's are starting to push the prices over the top for the old Mig's now

S/Steel exhaust cat back, to fit 3.2 / 2.6 saloon. This is all in one part and will need collecting from Swindon but if you live close I could bring it round on the roof rack on my van. It is used but with a little work to remove old studs will last the car out

it's twin outlet like on a 3.2

General Car Chat / LPG Question

Has anyone had anything to do with Tartarini LPG systems. Engine runs OK on gas at tick over and it will rev on gas, but power is down under load, don't know service history of this V8 engine but could old plugs do this $:-\$ . Not my vehicle, well not yet

Any ideas

General Car Chat / coolant loss on a Corsa

Chap at work has a 1.4 07 plate Corsa and each week he is topping up the coolant with about 300ml coolant. It has had a pressure test and a new bottle cap, but still having to top up each week. Any ideas $:-\$

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Courtesy lights

Brothers 2.2 saloon courtesy lights are not working at all, have checked both 12,15 fuses and both are fine, all bulbs are good

Yesterday but another light switch in but all still the same.

Does anyone have any idea please.

I have lost the map on the sat nav on the CID, had the clocks out the other week to put new bulbs in, reconnected both plugs, went to use the sat-nav and no map just black screen with box in top left corner with repeat and so on

Went on a nice road trip yesterday from Sterling to Fort William and on to Loch Ness to Inverness and back to Sterling, 335 miles. I think Glen Coe was the best bit
