Seems an odd way to lure potential buyers by telling them it's not a popular choice ??? Surely if it's not popular it's because there's something wrong with it compared to the opposition :-X
-
Perhaps they are using a bit of reverse phycology.
-
Jaguar recognise that they are a niche brand and play on that, very much along the lines of break from the norm.
Its the old 'do you want the usual german offerings or to be different'
E-Pace is not a bad car (well equipped) and built in Austria, a bit heavy being steel construction but ok

like my R Class then ..... ::) ::)

Just think they could have worded it better instead of implying that the advert woman drives one because she "doesn't do popular"

Yes. Like Guinness or Marmite, they are an acquired taste. Huge fickin things that take up two spaces at Asda, and still stick out into the road. I'd love one, but I'd have to kill my neighbour so I could have two parking spaces.

On a positive note, your garden would also become larger ::)

Exactly what I thought when I saw it, personally I don't like that type of SUV at all neither one thing or the other, driven by " posers"who wouldn't dream of getting it dirty.

sadly true of 99.9% of SUV drivers ;D ;D ;D ;) ......me included (that said it has a had a few raggings across fields)

When I get the Ranger we should have a head-to-head :D
-
All my 4x4s have been workhorses for towing carrying & crossing fields water & anything else that gets in their way see no point in not using their abilities, look better with a bit of muck on them 😎

I suppose it depends why it was bought. My 4x4 was bought because it wasn't front wheel drive like the majority of cars on the road today & it had a proper slush box auto and not an automated manual DSG type like many of the other autos to gain an odd mpg over a rival car manufacturer. And I wanted it to tow my large twin axle caravan. :y :y
I've had it on 3 wheels if that counts ;D

Way back in the mists of time my Reliant Regal plastic pig was always on 3 wheels. Until I rolled it. :-X

......come to think of it I owned two plastic pigs. A saloon and a supervan. Rolled them both. :-[

That looks like the upmarket Rialto. My Regal didn't have as much stability as that... ;D

Had my Regal soft top three years and never rolled it once. :D

A long time ago now but if memory serves we put it back on 3 wheels minus the windscreen which had popped out. :y
