Parcel Farce, had a parcel sent from Germany, customs charge to pay. They decided to totally forget to contact me to let me know so it timed out and got sent back
Sender contacted me to say it was back and if I still wanted it, an additional 10 euros charge as they had to pay it Paid as I wanted the parts. Been battling numpties within Parcel Farce since who cant get to grips with what my claim is for despite paperwork submission from sender telling them in black and white. I can almost see a small claims court appointment coming on. 34 euros is still 34 euros an I want it back for their lack of service, idiots!!! |

I really dislike the trapezoidal exhaust tips that came as standard. I think they make the car look like a godless black smoke belching planet-destroying derv from behind.
Quite pleased with these 'chinky produced' but well made heavily chromed tips from the land of the slitty eye, which cost just £80 delivered. Bigger brand names were anywhere between £200-£400. |

Within a mile and a half of me there's a large Halfords an ECP and a Parkers while at the far end of town[about 3 miles]there are two Independant motor factors. I thought you had a Ford Model T brand new as a first car? |

To update my thread here...it was head gasket on UK driver's side, although the other gasket wasn't much better.
Owning an Omega takes an entire man, as you know. It cost me an arm and a leg to put her into state she is now, and I had to sell my kidney to pay for head gasket fix so....I'm just a pieces of a man I used to be now... For the first time I own Omegas there is no coolant leak But I like her, hopefully it will last 5 more years to be a proper oldtimer with minimal insurance and used only for summer sunday runs. Then I'll have to buy something else, but untill then I really like old faithfull barge. |
