If light wasnt on before you replaced ignition module I expect you have trapped a wire from the mass in the cable tray or left something unplugged.

Retrace your work and it should appear what the issue is ...several connecters at back where you pull multiplug from module that might not be fitted properly .

Needs a code really to be sure .

Remove the cable and complete assembly, then weld a hasp and staple to the bonnet and fit a pad lock.
That should work until you loose the key  ;D

The small extra bit of rubber that joins the 2 doesnt have any oil to stop so you could fit either without issues.

My 2003 has had the 2 separate seals fitted for the past 3 years without any issue.I suppose you could just run a bead of black sealant across the channel in the cover but my experience says it makes no difference.

Just read she had a "pit stop "with Daniil Kyvat and has already off spring so young Max wont need to lunge for the improbable pass on this occasion  ;D

The VSC senario gave every team an option and a decision to make which was within their own control..Yes Merc didnt make a good choice but it was theirs and they lived or died by it.

The final 4 lap circus was not a choice they had and given Merc were + 10 seconds up the road from RB its just not right that for a final single lap they were in effect side by side...as I said earlier that is right.

Yes it may of given the huge crowd and TV viewers a thrilling viewing but it wasnt right

For many years it was dull watching the same car/driver always wining but to effectively give the lead car on the last lap a 10 second penalty and have the second car on new tyres(albeit with some lucky strategy) be allowed to pull up level for the final lap ....no thats just wrong in any book .

Not keen on either driver or team but that wasnt how it should end ...not right

Well that was a total circus and should be null and void and re run.

4 laps to go ...Hamilton some 10 seconds ahead of Verstappen then crash and VSC..All seems quite sane ,but then 1 lap left and they are both side by side....cant see thats right .

I would suggest its a re run

Put a bit of thick grease or even blu tack into the socket is useful.

There is just enough room to feed a 1/4 extension bar with a deep socket through the gap under the headlight where you have removed the trim section.A good strong led torch is needed to see the bolt and allow the socket to be feed onto it .Its not very tight so little effort removing.Refitting is the reverse but again ideal to secure the bolt into the socket as explained above.

Finally be careful when you remove the assembly as the leg which you have just removed the hidden bolt from is quite flexible but can snap if pulled too hard.

Cheers guys .
Rumaged around in the drivers footwell and located fuse #25 only controls sunroof so removed and roof disabled !
Will investigate a replacement control box as like things to work Öbut not all the time especially at motorway speed when raining .
Problem resolved at present

Sunroof is doing the phantom opening and closing ,
Have removed magnetic disc and cleaned with switch cleaner but hasnít resolved issue,
As sunroof rarely if ever used am happy to disconnect it permenantly.
Where is the relay or is it on a separate fuse

I spent around £800 couple of years ago on a full front end rebuild and never regretted spending it as car drives like a dream, and still does hence my reluctance to get rid of it despite the body wounds on the NS. :(

Still only get around 9 months out of a £450 set of tyres but thats mileage not wear :(
