Omega General Help / Black sill trims - fittings
« on: 26 July 2022, 16:37:56 »
Trying to find a source of new plugs for the plain black trims that sit on the ills, inside the doors.

I've searched low, high, middling, down a bit and sideways but can't find any of them.

Last time I had it in the bodyshop they simply resealed the bits where rhe plugs were broken, but this is my last resort...

The plugs are the diddy white ones that slot into the underside of the trims, then push into the holes in the sill so I can't just use one from my big box of push clips. :(

Ummmm, don't let me interrupt you - but could either of you tell me where the "other" coil pack is, please? I only seem to have the one...  ;D
2.5 and 3.0 have one and six leads. 2.6 and 3.2 have on coil pack per bank :y

Any dog can be farkin dangerous if it has the inclination, either through nature or shit owners.

The worst non -fatal one Ive seen was a Patterdale... While its brother sat and just looked bewildered.

Nick and Addy, thanks for the offer - but it's on 16s because I'm awkward :y.

Place with the kit is about 2 miles from here, I've set them by eye to as vertical as possible, everything is new and freely moving so will have a gentle pootle over. And they can do my MOT too!

I've just been to the tip, Chris, with loads of stuff I thought would 'come in handy'. You know what you have to do  ;D

I was persuaded to get rid of my boxes full of useful (used) plumbing fittings... 4 inch bits of twin and earth... Even the vast majority of my useful tubs. I mean, MrsGK has jo heart!

Dropped the wheels off for tyres. Got some new bolts for fitting the redone headlight sensors. These are exciting times we live in.

Toby carvery ! nothing wrong with that  :y
Better than virtually any pub Sunday Lunch IMHO, by some margin. Shame the one in Banburyshire closed to become a Miller & Carter :(

Weekday TC breakfast is a guilty pleasure.

Found it! Traced it through and found it tucked in a blitheringly stupid place behind the ABS pump. Because I am that good. Thanks again :y

As in the suspension sensors?  They all end up at a module in the OSF wheel arch liner.

Perfect, just what I needed, thank you! :y

This place?

Yes. Please note it was at least 6 years ago we went, probably more, so it all may have changed.
