No not our lot this time, but news from Kenya that MP's there are demanding a pay rise that will take their salary to £6540 per month and this in a country where the average annual salary is about £1100!!  :o

To put this into perspective, British MP's earn a basic salary of £5478 per month (approx), although I think that the average British salary is fast approaching that of Kenya...  ::)  ;D

Protesters released a pig and a dozen piglets outside the gates of Parliament in Nairobi and fed them blood...  8)

Ridiculous! Should be able to do this at the Post Office!  >:(

I bought a car last year that was an ex-motability and my nearest DVLA office is 30 miles away!!! What a faff!!  ::)

So yes lets call the Jag a hairdressers car, but the hairdresser should be elderly, indistinguishable from male or female, wear a flat cap and smoke a pipe, whilst driving round at no more than 40mph.....  ;) Get it??  :P

I think you miss my point Tunnie, it's not about the age of the car but the age of the driver.  My Uncle has a Jag XJ something or other and he's a 72 year old retired company director and probably the typical Jag driver....  :-\

So when I say it's an old man's car it's a bit like saying it's a hairdresser's car!  ;D
