Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted / OE Brake Pads - 9195077

I have 4 sets of the expensive OE Brake pads 9195077.
These have the rivet that holds the wear sensor in the wrong way around, so will not take a wear sensor.
Apart from that they are perfect.  Had more, but used them, no longer have an Omega.

As per thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=147168.0;all
The following have first refusal on a set each :
GastronomicKleptomaniac
Amba
GrahamK
456lbft

Looking for £25 a set posted (UK Mainland, nothing fancy)

Try NO power, NO battery (remove it)
Press and hold power button for about 1 minute

Restore power and turn on normally.

I think i have a few boxes of the 'good' jurid ones surplus to requirements.
They wont take a wear sensor, (bit rivetted on the wrong way around) but apart from that perfect.

If I have Ill chuck them in the sales area next week

Yeah, weve got the small runabout sorted - Golf GTI (her car)

This needs to be the 'practical family car' The Golf is verging on too small as the runabout, so deffo looking at the larger cars, but holding back from the largest such as E class and suberb this time.  That said weve not been to sit in anything yet.  Weve very much liked the Merc and almost everything about it.  Im also considerabley smaller than I was when speccing the Merc, so every seat sat in etc then has no relavence now, what didnt fit before, may well do now.

Comodores are nice, but dont want to end up in a parts / maintenance struggle.

If mileage is low, what about scratching that v8 itch, whilst there are still some about?

Youre the 2nd person to suggest it, and I see the reasoning.

But very few roads left round here I can actually drive it on properly, and even with low mileage not sure i can go back to that sort of economy.

The superb was a close second when I bought the E250, but the ones I liked were slightly too new / expensive at the time.

Got the notification yesterday that as working from home has gone so well during lockdown that the company is closing my office and Ill be working from home permanently.

Mixed feelings on that, but will certainly enjoy the 2 hours extra a day I get from no commute, and I wont miss the fuel bill from a 70+ mile daily commute.

As a consequence, Ill not be doing a fraction of the mileage I have been doing so the Diesel will have to go before a load of short trips kill it.

Time to start thinking about what to replace it with.  Nothing particularly comes immediately to mind, but think ill investigate a Octavia VRS as I like tke look of em.
Fancy a reasonably sized, Petrol, Auto Estate thats not slow.
