Good luck mate.  See you around.

Cheers guys hoping to get the internet at home its sods law though i can only get 512K but thats the trouble with living too far from the exchange

Good luck

Dont give up on 1 meg, do you know your line figures?

I left demon as they refused to try and upgrade me to 1 meg
I knew neighbours had faster
Moved to zen who previously confirmed they would try, they succeeded, although my line is dead on the limits, it is stable enough.

not answering your question, but that is a slow laptop, suspect it may not be capable of controlling your tech2

I have one slightly less powerfull than that! and it doesnt work, I run mine on a 1.2 ghz.

I would guess a 1 ghz processor is about the minimum, maybe a bit less, certainly wouldn't try on under 500mhz.

Good luck

dont go too old!

I cant run my cheapo tech2 on my old laptop (old pentium mmx)
runs fine on a more powerful one.

Distinct lack of TC access around here :(
Hopefully that is about to change :)

Trying again for a real one on Monday, failing that a certain vauxhall club's one looks very close now they have been listed on VBOA website.

sighthill lmao

we have an office there

commonly refered to as sh1tehill!

LOL yeah there's a VX dealer round there too... I wouldn't go near the place after the sun starts to set  :o

I do my best to avoid it regardless of the sun position
(nothing against Scotland - I love it, just this place, well our office to be precise ;) )
