drivers seat not working
« on: 15 June 2021, 11:42:16 »

Hi, my drivers seat has stopped working, the passengers seat is ok so not the fuse. Also the courtesy light in the doors and boot also not coming on. Are the two linked and where should I start looking? Thanks  :y

Whilst I cannot advise on why the interior and boot lights aren't working relative to the seat operation, I would initially check the large block connectors under the drivers seat haven't been disturbed, as well as checking that a coin hasn't fallen onto the seat rail jamming it.

Do you have memory function?
I had similar problems, and if you can move seats via memory button then your seat controls are dead.
I doubt that connectors are making problems, they are in fixed position, but it's worth of checking..

Hi all, I've had time to look at the fuses and work through them and I found that fuse 7 marked check control in my manual had blown. Replaced it and driver seal and all the courtesy lights are now working! :)
