Generally speaking people these days aren't particularly kind, but today I was treated to a random act of kindness.
I suffer with painful arthritic hips and when on a long drive often have to pull over to stretch and walk around to relieve the pain. Today I pulled into a motorway services and was stretching up against my car, when a woman in the next car started frantically knocking on the window and waving at me.
Not very kindly I thought
Oh god, a mad woman! 
but to cut a long story short the lady called Gwyneth insisted on giving me a patch which she said would relieve my pain. I tried to politely resist but she persisted and then her husband turned up and they ganged up on me, so I capitulated, thanked them, took the patch and went on my way.
Later on the pain returned and so I thought I'd give Gwyneth's patch a try. Wow! Within about 20 minutes the pain had gone and about 8 hours later I'm still pain free. I even did the two and a half hours drive home later without having to stop!
So if any of you old codgers have painful joints give this a try! I'll certainly be heading into Boots to get some on Monday!
