Today, I have been crimping 50v power cables all day, and now my right forearm is swollen badly.

What will the missus think I've been up to all day when she gets back home and sees it ;D

You need something like THIS


It's on my list for things like battery and control cables. Crimping beats soldering in both cases.

Sadly, the crimping tool is £500 for the bog standard manual one....
