Why not shove it on a sports dedicated channel rather than than take over the normal TV channels

Really getting pissed off with my regular habit of watching Emmerdale and Corrie being disturbed by bloody football, wall to wall bloody football!!! >:(

Yes Rangie, I, others on here (maybe their secret :D) and millions of others LOVE watching the soaps, and especially at the moment to get away from real life worries and watch magnified worries of characters in the fictional world! ;D ;D ;D ;)

Well none of them are going to answer that truthfully are they.  ;D  They'll all say "Well I don't watch it personally but my wife does", which when translated means ' I don't admit to watching a soap but I have a general grasp of the storyline'.  :)

As for the football, I agree with Skruntie, they should show it on an otherwise un-watched and unloved channel ............. like BBC1 or BBC2.  ;)

Wheather anyone watches or not is not the point.  Sport should not Dominate (Live matches) the basic channels (Apart from Saturday afternoon).  No idea how many channels are available these days

Just to add.  I love F1, Rallying, Tractor pulling, Drag Racing & Female Nude Mud Wresting

But all sport should have its own FREE channel.

Further more.  Corrie should be aired from the very 1st episode (ENA SHARPLES RULES)

Whatever floats your boat then, the only programme I really try to keep up with is Antiques Roadshow always liked it , do a bit of buying & selling done quite well in the last 12 months picked up a lot of tips/knowledge.

I bought a new telly last week.

Wish I hadn't bothered, as its still the same shit on. If its not depressing soaps, its cookery programs or full on trailer trash TV.

I can answer truthfully. Neither of us watch soaps*.  If we feel the need to be depressed and suicidal, we just pop into the office.


*I do occasionally catch her watching neighbours, but it turns out the Robinsons have moved out, along with Kylie and Jason.

This is only watched by old women, Skruntie.......as is Emmerdale Farm and the East End crap that the BBC churn out. :)
