Anyway, its all back together now but will be doing droplinks when new ones arrive.
Next job is to try and cure a slight weep from a joint in the PAS pressure pipe on the Boxster.
£250 for a second hand one will motivate me to do a proper job on that one !

The only one I would want to be without is the French thing, but I need its MPG for commuting.
Your suggestion would also free up a lot of my time, which would then probably be used up doing DIY, visiting garden centres, and various other shops.

A nice 2.0 diesel astra estate would get you along the road nicely with 165bhp.....and 45mpg. No excuses.
