I know someone who hated their brand new one so much, that after three years, they bought another brand new one to replace it.

If it helps :D

I've already told her that it will be a 5.0 Mustang when the RRS goes , she's happy with that.

Had a 1l one as a hire car on hols a few years ago (so a previous model), and it wasn't a bad little car TBH.  Very, very thrashable, but then it was a hire car.

Wouldn't spend my own money on one though.

Filled the Subaru up for a trip to Croydon tomorrow , be glad when the house is sold and all this to & froing is finished.
You could be sitting in an aygo next time  ;D

She showed me one today 3,500 miles £7999 so you may be right

We could start an Aygo thread on here and really slag them off, so you can show it to Mrs Mick.  ???  :)

Tell her Look at this! These guys really know what they're talking about! ;D

Too late she's already done the research, reports are pretty good.

Don't write off the Peugeot and Citroen versions, built on the same line with just slightly different faces but generally better value

But not as fast and less powerful, if that's possible  ;D

I got a bit confused there, I knew I'd read something about it, but memory retention is not my thing these days  ;D
From auto trader:

The Toyota Aygo is mechanically almost identical to the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 108, which are built in the same factory. You’d expect, then, the running costs to be the same, but the Toyota is actually very affordable to buy and will also hold its value better, which should keep overall running costs impressively low. Another main city car rival, the Volkswagen Up, is a bit cheaper to buy but doesn’t get such good fuel economy, despite having less power, which makes the overall costs very similar to the Aygo.

I have driven the Up and the Skoda  version and very civilised little things, they feel better built than the toyota/pug/citroen with nicer interior materials but all down to taste I suppose :y

I used to complain getting stuck behind Aygo/C1 drivers till I had to use one to go out on a breakdown (hire car it was) and even thrashing the hell out of it found it hard to get over 50mph on twisty B roads as it s so sloooooooooow. (terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired) I preferer the VW just for build quality as its not made from old biscuit tins.
Have been busy on getting my VW panel ready for the road after a 3year total rebuild and a year laid up , flat looks like an upholstery shop!! Picking up the roll over bar for the Austin this afternoon as well so will be able to crack on with that.

Driven down to Croydon in the Subaru , wifey has tidied the interior of the house up & I have mowed the lawn sales photos now completed ready to go up for sale, one bit of good news is that since having it valued in Jan/Feb we have been advised to increase the price by £35,000 it's not only second hand car prices that are rising ! 😃
