Drove over a speed bump yesterday which caused and almighty bang from under the Barge.

Backed it onto the ramps expecting to find a blown shock... Nope, just the exhaust is no longer supported between the cats and the back box... The mounts just ahead of the diff having rotted away. Exhaust is original and otherwise perfect.

Had a quick poke around whilst under there... Beginnings of a crusty patch on the nearside just ahead of the wheel, no need to remove anything to deal with it, literally a couple of inches square. Rear tyres almost at the wear bars.

So potential MoT list:

Set of tyres.
Exhaust hangers.
Ball joint.
2" plate.

Started it for the first time in ages, to drive 15 miles to the local train station.

Should have driven directly to London, as the train journey in was hell.  Fully rammed like a tube train at rush hour, not even any standing room left in the toilet cubicle.

Obviously, hardly anyone wore a mask,  because nobody has to take any responsibilities for there actions any more. And COVID is all over anyway.

Yet again tied to fathom why pierre has a fuel pressure problem that makes it really hard to start (cold or hot) and brings up STOP message when the engine is under load.
Pumping the primer bulb helps with starting, and easing off the throttle slightly puts the STOP message off on the dash, until some load is applied again.
Fault code (p0089) is a fuel pressure regulator code, but google tells me that can actually indicate any number of faults somewhere between the fuel cap and the injector nozzles. ::)
The Swan Vesta option becomes more tempting by the day.
