Hi all.  How do i change the bulbs in the front courtesy light, its on a facelift model.  I cant get my fingers in to grip the bulb what am I doing wrong?

I have a Nokia cark91 system fitted in my car can you buy adaptors for any other phone to fit as it will only take the older Nokia phones, or have i got to go all retro!! and buy an old Nokia?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Engine Management light ?????

Dont know if im in the right area to ask this.  The engine management light came on today I presume its that, its the one that looks like an engine.  It goes off after a short while then comes back on when idling.  Ive ordered a new idle control valve as the idling is eratic, this was like this before the light came on will this have something to do with the light coming on?

Hi all this is my first post.  I have a year 2000 on W plate Omega estate 2.0 litre 16v CD.  I think its one of the first face lift models, as it has the new style heating controls.  Can I replace the stereo which at the mo is a CDR 2005 with a CCR 2006 and retain the steering wheel controls.  One of the reasons I ask is that my stereo has the manual tone control which does not show on the control panel along with the volume level.  Will these values show on my panel if i fit this newer stereo.  Hope this makes sense!!

Omega General Help / Whats going on

Hi everyone heres a strange one.  I was sat in a queue temp went to about 90-95 fans kick in, great.  On my way home it began to cough and splutter rev counter was going haywire engine management light came on, I turned it off, started it up drove for about a mile then it started again light came on again then it went into limp home mode.  Left it overnight now its running fine? anyone any ideas.  Is the temp I mention normal its a 2 litre 16v estate 2000 model by the way.

Omega General Help / Cars running like a dream

Got my car back today new MAF sensor new IACV and something else which im not sure about a valve thats attached to the exhaust manifold that was stuck half open letting in too much air anyone any ideas what it is.  Anyway its runnng like a dream well chuffed excellent service from the chaps I bought it off, no problems at all makes a change from being ripped off then fobbed off with excuses.

Ive just seen a seven seat conversion on Ebay, didnt know you could get it in an Omega.  Does anyone know where and how much I can get one for?  I've included a picture.  Are they legal as there is nowhere for the feet to go.

Omega General Help / This is doing my head in !!

Hi all My 2000 2.0 16v had an idling prob sorted by replacement of IACV amd MAF this has been done on warranty and so far they have been pretty good but there now is a new prob. There is a couple of judders when I change from 1st to 2nd and it hesitates at around the 4000 rpm mark in 3rd it was not doing this before the MAF was changed.  Anyone any ideas please?

Omega General Help / Estate storage

I have noticed that on some estates there are storage bins either side in the back over the wheel arches.  Can these be bought as a spare and fit any estate or are they only on 1 particular model.  If so where can i get some as storage is not really that good in these cars, glove box is virtually useless and the side pockets are more like wallets so these would be pretty useful.
