Another prob? - Alarm
« on: 24 October 2006, 17:50:54 »

Came home at lunchtime....parked up and deadlocked the car

10 mins later the alarm was going off......horn and siren and indicators flashing.

When the alarm goes off is it normal for both the horn and siren to go off? I thought the siren was just for disconnecting the battery type tampering?

I guess a flying insect could of set it off and im keeping an eye on it.....but i was suprised both alarms were going off.

Im pretty sure the other time it went off (coz id left a window open) only the horn was sounding.

Anyone know?

Cheers

Well having looked at my alarm and the Black omega alarm I attached the Horn from the Black omega to test it, found that mine only had the powersounder and no horn anyway the two went off, perhaps yours has both have you managed to check under the scuttle on the drivers side to confirm. Being that yours is a facelift perhaps yours has both.
