I think this thread helps to confirm using the right type.

Its suggested this is the stuff to use.
Sealent, Black (not the Green stuff!): 90485251, 1 off

Thanks guys for all your help.
Ive ordered a wet suit and a pair of wellies ready to do the jobs. Bloody rain.

Will post when all is done, This may take a while though..very busy..
