V6 2.6 intermittent engine cut out & not starting
« on: 02 July 2011, 11:09:09 »

Hi This is my first request for help. I have an 02, v6 2.6 Estate and I have been having intermitent engine cutting out problems and not starting. I completed the pedal test and I get 2 codes 0335 and 0100.  Would someone be kind enough to describe what problem I may have.  I live in Mallorca and the problem seem to start when the weather got warmer - cheers

You need to replace the crank sensor (use genuine part) before it gives up totally (then it`ll never start)

As others say, crank sensor needs replacement ASAP.

Use a genuine GM part if possible.
