Fitted front and rear dash cams to mine. Very happy with the quality of the image and ease of setup was surprising. However I discovered that the fuse board in the rear of the s80 is always live. So I either need to get a battery saver or run both off the front fuses. Not decided which yet.

If I get a V70 for the wife, I'm bringing it to you for some upgrades! Parking sensors and cameras so far  ;D

I replaced zircon HP valve, decided to vent the gas first, via screwdriver into the valve. About 1 second's worth of gas came out  :(  :-\

Hopefully it's the valve that was the problem, have a feeling when I go to get it re-gassed the compressor will hold gas about as well as I do after a curry.

Spent two minutes fitted my just arrived ABS ecu. Journey to work tonight will soon tell if it's worked or not ::)

Forgetting the legalities for a sec, you wanna be careful doing that, as you could end up with extreme burns.

It didn't. Although the codes now showing are very different so hopefully a reconfiguration will sort :-\

Done it before, so knew to be careful. Also used the very long thin driver I had. Given that 99% of it had escaped anyway  ;D

Not forgetting the Bluetooth hands free. That was by far the most destructive thing I've had to do to it.

I did tidy up a bit after this photo was taken  ;D

But it could have had enough gas, you didn't know.  Doesn't matter how long the screwdriver, that jet that will burn will be good for well over 50cm.  Use a method where your hand is well out of the way next time (ie, something bent). Legalities aside, obviously.

Well, they empty it all out anyway ;)

It will have to be a catastrophic leak for it to be detected on the vac test.  Have you got dye anywhere (presumably it had dye put in last time?). As if you have a tone of dye on the condenser, or the pipe up the chassis leg, etc, then you know its a waste of time regassing it without fixing that.

It's always had bit of dye around the compressor, but the old estate had that as well. Aircon never failed on that.

I think I have the O rings for the compressor somewhere and your welcome to them if you want Tunnie.  :)
