I will be converting to HID in the next couple of months, however I do want headlamp washers, how much work too fit?
-
New washer bottle, pump, pipework and washer jets. Not sure on facelift if there is much else, as I suspect the loom is there. You will need to drill the bumper.
Prefacelift would need the washer extenders as well, and the trim under headlight drilled...

Remeber if you are doing HIDs properly, you need the level sensors, not sure if its a seperate ECU, and you MID reprogrammed to tell it about the HIDs.
-
It is a seperate ECU...

Looks like time to scour the breakers, might fit self leveling suspension or HD springs.
Tunnie does this a lot doesn't he?
Not many breakers near me and they are not DIY strip

no hid omegas in tunnies local scrappy...

Never mind - I'll start a wanted thread

Yup, sorry no HID's :(
I would't mind a HID conversion for my facelift, looks like a LOT of work though.

Buy a new car instead. How about a nice 1998 silver MV6 ;)

Before fitting HID's check out the price of replacement bulbs. I was going to go down the HID road because the head lights on my 95 2.5 were crap but because of the price of new bulbs I manageg to pick up nearly new headlight unit and used 30% brighter H1 bulbs, not the blue ones and now I'm more than happy with my night driving.
I think you'd be disapointed with the blue bulbs, I was.

Used to be easy 80/100 headlamp and 130w driving lights on the Sunbeam.
Anyway I think I will HID convert as they are good

Bit old and I still owe quite a bit on the 2.6, not to mention all the work required to gas it
