120 watt amp on 4 channels will draw 40 amps

120 * 4 div by 12 = 40 amps

AWG 8 should be ok but depends on the lenth of the cable also I went for AWG 6 with a lower rating fuse to make double double sure it was fine

forgot to say may amp does not pull as many amps as yours so i can get away with a low fuse mine is only 80 x 4 so pulls 26 odd amps

Splx = Nasty cheap garish chav amp. Big claims and low quality (and price). Not recommended.

MacAudio = Slightly better than Splx. Again, not recommended.

Blaupunkt = Better.

If you are looking to run a set of Infinity 605's (up front I presume) then I would suggest a 2 channel amp producing around 30-40w rms.
You don't need more than that.

I would also recommend a small sub to get the best out of the system.

Here are some recommended amps going cheap.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Alarm Power Sounders
« on: 26 September 2007, 13:01:45 »
Just a quicky When I was unplugging My power Sounder as it was setting off the alarm all the time i unplugged the wrong one and i had just the indicators flashing away when i set it off, I replugged the horn sounder back in and unplugged the black box power sounder and everything seems fine now.

Take your horns/sounders out and run 12V through it and see if it sounds if not down to the scrapper or ebay

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: heated seats
« on: 13 September 2007, 22:26:31 »
My heated drivers seat element snapped and burnt through the seat and my jeans and into my arse.

The only way i got around it was to rip the seats out and put in MV6 leathers with working heated seats.

I have heard there is a way to fix them but its a real pain unpicking the seat stitching and re stitching it
