the reason that i asked is i lose fluid & i thought i fixed the problem. initially blamed the banjo bolt as it looked wet. put new washers on it but still i lost fluid. i topped the reservoir up but the cap was really tight & all the top half of the reservoir turned . where i park at home i have to reverse with hard left hand down & i am leaving a trail of fluid that are about 2 feet apart & three inches in circumference. i rang Steve at vauxhallspareparts & he has heard of reservoirs perishing ( i hadn,t ) unfortunately he hasn,t got one. may see if a bit of gorilla glue & sealant fixes it.  :y

Common fault, with omega is the pipe weeps, due to not using dex3, never had a leaking reservoir, .

Also check the cooler pipes at the front slight corrosion, will weep there.

No idea how much a new one was[until I looked at the BMW one on e-bay linked to in a previous post]as I've never needed to buy one,but the aforementioned BMW one is £13odd without the pipe?

OK, it's 4 quid more  ::)

But it does exactly what is required and is brand new rather than really old and used...
