I really like the fact that the wood trim has a slightly mat look....not polished to death like every other one goes after a few years (including mine)....is that how they came when new??

Would love to have folding mirrors! It wasn't listed in the UK 2003 brochure so the plot thickens  :-?

Ricardo, it was only selected cars around 1999-2000 that had matt wood effect. As you say, most are the high gloss effect but came out of the factory like that! There doen't really seem to be a trend as to what trim was used. Personally, I think it makes the car a little dated and much prefer the Sport/MV6 trim  :y

A380, the mats are still available through vauxhall dealers, about £38 but they do look classy, won't slip around and will last the life of the car. Get em bought  ;)

Hans, your car is flawless and your photography is superb. We are green with envy at the colour Sat Nav which was a rare option in the UK and also noticed you have the Irmscher steering wheel  8-)

Little more than converting a facelift.....you just need the single DIN NCDC unit (as used in late Vectras.

Its the colour screen that I still seek....as I have an NCDC2013

Yep, trying to squeeze so much info onto the smaller display is silly.

As you say, far easier to use. And having the map display is a godsend.

Plus, it just looks plain old cool, especially at night.  8-)

Can you still use the stop watch functions & MPG, consumption etc from the old screen as you still have the buttons on the stalk next to the steering wheel

Don't know on the prefacelift on this thread but on the facelifts you can have all the trip computer info displayed simultaneously on one screen (rather than scroll through each item as on the other mono screens). The stopwatch function isn't available.
