Been driving myself crazy trying to do it by USB, Its a AVI video i want to transfer its only 2 minuets long . Any ideas $:-\$

Does it not need to be in s different format? Mp4 iirc?
There are some free convertors on the net which are really easy to use. I cant remember the name of the one I used before.

Yep pretty sure it does but how could i convert it, Been trying Windows Movie Player to try and convert but no luck. $:-\$

Its actually from my new dash cam just want to put in on the iPhone to edit and upload to YouTube much quicker on iPhone rather than laptop for some reason.

Any recommended free software to convert to .mov ?

I try to avoid it like the plague, but I would imagine gayTunes will do it. Or completely shag your iTunes library, which is what it normally does.

Handbrake is the usual gayDevice video conversion tool used by most sane people.

It will be a million times faster to use the laptop. Why spend so much time pissing around?

Lost my last post!
Download a free video converter. I've a notion the one I used some time ago was called WinX or something, though that doesn't sound quite right $:-\$
It actually labelled the destination output by device type which made it simple!

Handbrake is what I used to set films to device specific size and resolutions. Just pick device and export. Think mp4's may work its been a few years since I converted one

Handbrake worked transferred with iTunes to iPhone 5 ... Although then i realised i had RealPlayer which is simpler to use and can convert to iPhone 5 16:9 forgot all about it... Never mind will upload the video later on.. Wont be great as the dash cam was only £14.99 delivered

One of the best on-line converters is Zamzar, who can convert a hugh range of formats, incl avi --> mov http://www.zamzar.com/convert/avi-to-mov/

DVDFab will do everything (and more) that Handbrake does, and it will do it in a ¼ of the time if you have compliant hardware.
