No not yet its the front off side right were the crossmember fixes it looks like the plod have done a repair in the past and its just corroded through was gonna get price to repair but just cant be arsed lol be sad to see the big mig go though

Cant be as bad as a plod 3.2 on a damp road lol .Gonna go back tommorrow have a proper look and drive it will make a change to own a car with no dodgy wires left hanging

I think its time to bin the mig failed on a cracked front chasis leg today  >:( bloke showed me and its bad  :'( I`m thinking of getting a signum 2.0 turbo elite any off you guys know of any bad points on them apart from being fwd  :D

Just had another thought check your speaker wires as well if you aftrermarket unit has a built in amp then touching speaker wires will have the same effect

How are you wiring it into the loom ? if your using the old cut and tape method it sounds like youve got a bare wire somewere. get some of that shrink stuff and do each one again taking care to make sure the lives are totally insulated. hth

Just fitted some mv6 cloth seats into my ex plod the problem is the seat heater switches light up with sidelights but dont work when turned on (no orange light) but the weird thing is they lit up previous when i had the leather seats but weren`t connected to the seats due to the seats being from a minifacelift does anyone know what fuse does the heated seats

I`m looking for the above double din cage and face plate for my omega ive just bought a double din dvd player but the cage was knackered ive looked on ebay but they all seem expensive any of you guys know were i can get one cheap  :y also need some type of facia plate as i have a gap around the head unit and it looks butt ugly

ive looked at black beautys thread many times  ;D im defo gonna get something but dont want to go over the top on cost my mate just pointed out that some tuners will be going cheap as the analouge signal is now dead so ill have to look into it further

I was thinking that myself just needed an expert to convince me guess i wasd blinded by all the toys . I wasnt looking for one but thought id treat myself ill be on a mission now to find a good make

Hello this is probually the first of many HELP posts ive just bought an ex plod 3.2 mv6 started to do some tidying up on all the cut wires etc and came across and aerial (normal wing mount type) stuffed up behind the dash !! so i went on the search for the real aerial wire i think ive found it were it joins in the drivers footwell so im presuming plod has cut it off betwean there and the centre console is the joiner a blue block with a grey lead and a small wire if so all i need is the short piece to go to the stereo ive only had the car a day and regreting it allready its drives and look great but the tidying up is going to to a nightmare allready removed loads of the surplus wiring the car should be faster now its lighter  [smiley=cheesy.gif]
