The Democrats chose the worst possible candidate and allowed this odious individual to slip into power.
If Clinton had won, exactly the same thing could be said, apart from substituting Republican for Democrat.
We live in interesting times.  ::)

Obama did 70 percent of what he said he would.

Civil servants in a lot of governments will be busy trying to work out what it means for their country. What does it mean for NATO?

Much bewilderment on the BBC and the rest, and predictable howls of outrage on social media!  ;D

He is President of the United States, not the free world.

And he's won it fair and square. Let him be judged on his Presidency, not his campaign ;)

A Republican trifecta might not be best for the country as a whole, but it is what it is...

I was just watching Sky News where they were talking about the reaction from the markets and they pointed out that the FTSE was doing OK after an initial fall but had bounced back to yesterdays close levels.  I switched to the BBC where they were leading with FTSE falls by 1%!  ::)

Being serious for a moment - that's a fair comment tbh.  :y

Concerns about NATO aside, he may be a good friend to post Brexit Britain - hopefully.

Exactly, and God help the free World,  ;D

Just not sure about the bloke though, could be, erm, could be, good news for Britian / Brexit though in terms of USA / UK Trade deals, He does seem a bit pro Brexit. Maybe we wont be 'Back of the Queue' after all.   :-\
