Breaking 3.2 Elite Saloon
« on: 28 July 2020, 13:30:48 »

As per subject.  The engine, wheels and all the interior switches are spoken for, but pretty much everything else is up for grabs.  Parts can be shipped or collected from Near Daventry, Northants.
Not many body panels aren't damaged or rusty, but the sunroof works and I definitely don't need that, or the beige leather interior ;)

Hi, I’m after the 4x door puddle lights. Also what are the buttons like on the heater control panel?

Thanks.

Heater panel buttons are not very good.  I'll see if the puddle lights are present and working and let you know.

How quickly do you need to dispose of the car?

There's a few bits I am interested in but not able to collect for at least a few weeks.  :y

If this is what you mean by puddle lights, they all seem to work and will be available when the doors are stripped.

The car is being stripped over the next few weeks, I need the shell gone by September so let me know what you need and we can test them before it comes apart, all the parts wanted can then be stored until sold.

No worries on the heater control panel, but definitely interested in the door puddle lights. Don’t worry too much if any bulbs have blown as I’m just looking to replace a couple of mind where the clear plastic lenses have fell off

What's the general condition of the rear bumper? Not worried about light scratches etc as would need to be resprayed correct colour.

How leak free and noisy is the diff?

Bumper is scratched but not cracked as far as I can tell, and has reversing sensors if you want them or I'll keep them, but then there will be holes in it :-\
Diff is surprisingly dry as far as I remember. I have only driven it up and down outside the factory, so can't tell much, but it seemed ok, and not limited slip otherwise I'd be keeping it ;) I'll post up more pictures as soon as I can.

Xenon headlights, as shown, LHS-NS has all top mounting lugs broken :(, otherwise both work fine.
£30 for pair + £10.80 postage unless collected

Bumper with reversing sensors £60 + collection only, too big to post.  Bit of a bruise on LHS, but no obvious distortion to the panel, so will polish/paint out.

Picture of diff to follow, looks dry though 2003 car on 115000miles open not limited slip.

Diff pictures, it is a 3.2V6 Auto so 3.7:1 ratio, £90 collected incl ABS sensors but not mounting rubbers (Fubar).
As you can see there are no obvious leaks, and it was quiet in 1st gear at least, sold as seen.

Please could I have the interior light plug (968571-1) stamped on it. If its on your car - with as much loom as possible?

Also if the interior light housing is 90460836, that as well?

Thank you!

I am open to offers, everything must go, at least they are easy to get to and take off, unlike some bits.  Bear in mind hassle of postage these days, queuing in a mask at the PO tends to get tedious after a while, collection much preferred.

Ok, fair enough, thanks for the link, I'll post the hinges and rams to you complete for £36 total or I'll just keep them for my own stock, especially as I have another car coming which may need them. These ones are slightly slow to get to full extension with a boot spoiler fitted, but work fine without.
