Can't you get one off another vectra or a Saab 93? Some 93 models have em :y

I have mate just wondered if the omega's had them fitted as well as they are mostly fitted through out the vauxhall range but under different name's
Plus there more omega's in scrappys by me than vectra c's so it would of helped with replacement parts if i needed any

Omegas don't have canbus ... so if it's a canbus based system you won't find it on any .. and I've never heard of or seen the system on any omegas....   but I could easily be wrong .. :)

Interesting .. but I instantly have 3 questions I can't find the answer to on that site ... :)

1. Does the fitting charge of £50 include re-balancing all 4 wheels ??

2. What does the sensor weigh ?? It must need balance weights fitted diametricaly opposite it, but the idea of 2 lumps of weight acting like a pair of dumbells on my wheels is of concern to me.

3. How long do the batteries last ?? As they are "transmitting" all the time they must run out, and the expense of having to remove the tyres, replace the batteries, replace the tyres and rebalance would have to be added in to the equation.

They do on the Elite's but only for linking the Infotainment systems.
