General Car Chat / high back end
« on: 04 January 2016, 11:42:46 »
The back end of my car is sitting a bit high for my liking. I believe its due to the standard elite air shocks.
I have already changed the springs for police springs all round. If I change the shocks for b4's will this lower the car a little or is the height due to the police springs.
If I do take the air shocks off what else will I need to remove or unplug.

Also is the below the correct shocks for my 3.2

General Discussion Area / samsung a5
« on: 24 November 2015, 22:50:37 »
I have just got a samsung a5, its surpose to be 4g ready but mine is only showing h+ or h. I have checked on the vodafone websit site and it states that the phone should be on network mode..LTE/WCDMA/GSM. This will give you 4g when in a 4g area. My house sits in a string 4g area but it still only shows h+, the wifes samsung s4 mini always sits on 4g.
Any ideas whats wrong and does it matter.

Omega General Help / auto selector switch
« on: 16 November 2015, 14:19:53 »
Some times when putting the car into park it does not click in. Also when turning the ignition back on the "foot on Brake test" thing on the cid doesnt come up it shows the radio station etc straight away.
The lights all seem to be in the right postion while in drive, reverse etc.

Would this be the selector switch or something else.

General Car Chat / sat nav
« on: 11 October 2015, 22:01:12 »
I have been using a garmin sat nav for years but has started playing up. It keeps freezing at totally the wrong time.

I now have a omega with built in sat nav..are they still worth using even without postcode entry or are they to far out of date.

What is the recomended sat nav budget would be around £100.

General Car Chat / front 02 lamba sensors
« on: 10 October 2015, 23:17:25 »
After having a quick session with TB and his tech 2 today he advised me that my front 02 sensors are lazy. I have been trying to get part numbers for them so i can get a couple. But i keep getting back to the rear sensors.

my question is are these the same thing just in different parts of the exhaust. If not does anybody have the corrdct part numbers.
