powered up the Omega loom (whats left!) in the Austin , no smoke and it all seems to work. Got sent on a chase with a faulty indicator switch and a duff bulb on same side so need indicator switch now. Central locking works both ways now, just needs remote control. No feed to wipers and tracing feed to fuse it looks like it comes from engine ECU? will have a better look tomorrow

If youve kept the smoke inside the wires so far you must be on the right track.  :D

Putting off going to Croydon.  Managed to avoid it for about 5 years, but know in the next few weeks my luck is definately gonna run out.

I think we know who H is.(pronounced haitch according to several BBC announcers)

Airfix 1 (aka the french contraption) is up and running. Whether it remains oil tight remains to be seen.
Ran the engine for about 5 minutes and it seemed ok.
Still have lots of bits and pieces to reattach, but that can wait until Ive done my run of 3 nights starting tonight.
Had enough of it for now.

Splashed some fuel into the XE and removed the personal belongings, should be gone on Saturday.

Will be a shame as its a great drivers car, but then so is its replacement

There are worse places, even after the Olympics levelled the really shitty bits of Stratford...
I have had the misfortune to have to spend time in a hotel there. Grim. But then it is Londonium.

All my memories are slightly fuzzy, so must have found some pubs ;D
