Favourite driving game
« on: 26 January 2008, 21:59:29 »

Been thinking about this as we have a few - on 4 different consoles

Sega Rally on DC
Auto Modellista on PS2
Gran Turismo on PS2
Excite Trucks on Wiiii
F1 on PS3
Sega Rally on PS3
Motorstorm on PS3

Demos on PS3 for Burnout Paridise and GT HD

Well here goes

Nearest to driving is GT4, I like Tokio and Nurburgring
Best for fun Motorstorm
Worst Auto Modellista
F1 is pretty accurate
Best Graphics - not sure could be GT HD Demo or Motorstorm

NExt purchase GT5 :y
Oh and those stupid Wiiiiiiii controllers eat batteries!! I like the PS3 USB recharging

Currently, has to be Forza 2 on the 360.

However, having seen the GT5 demo.... wow!! :)

Previously to those it would be

GT4 on PS2
F1 on PC
Need for speed (porsche chaeelnge) on PC.

Guns, grenades etc? Still has to be Half Life and Half Life 2. :)

Merc/Audi/BMW baiting at Nottingham Knight and Wheatcrofts roundabout on the A52.

Ow, you were talking about console games!

There is nothing so satisfying as baiting someone when you are towing.

Escpecially when it's a glider trailer nearly 30' long!

Admittedly I had a 5 MPH rolling start, and he should have been paying more attention to the lights. By the time he'd realised what was happening there was no way to claw back his dignity.  ;D

BTW: Not really into driving games myself but a lot of guys I know are getting seriously into RFactor.

http://www.rfactor.net/

(this includes track junkies desperate to get a fix during the winter season - so it must be good)
