Looking at the old records for the Omega ....  over 104,171 miles and 11 years on LPG she averaged 17.08 p/mile compared to an estimated 28.19 p /mile for petrol...  the records also show that about half of that was towing the tin tent ... I CBA to try and pull out the non-towing data from some 700 odd lines of data so am simply using the overall totals !!

The figures are somewhat scewed by the fact that they cover petrol costs that vary between 1.59.9 /litre and 99.9 p/litre and LPG that costs between 72.4 p/litre and 44.9 p/litre !!!

That's only a couple of pence off what the Barge costs. On petrol :-\

If you're getting around 20pence /mile from the barge on petrol then it's doing around 30 mpg !! No Omega v6 I know does that around town !! Lucky to ever get even low 20s ... maybe 25-28 mpg on a run

What do you get from a full tank of lpg around town? I’m around 140 Miles to a tank full (43 litres all I can squeeze in ) 3.2 Mv6 estate auto.
You want to convert that to a manual V8 with those figures :D

I don't know.... lpg is 65p/litre around here, so 43 litres is £27.95. 140 miles at £27.95 is  19.96 pence / mile

When I ran the Omega the equivalent petrol cost was around 29 pence /mile around town ..  so looks like he's still "saving" around 10 pence a mile ....

Is it just me or is the site slow to load pages today ?? Get a blank screen and "connecting" for around 12-15 seconds before a page displays. Don't think its me or the VPN as all otehr sites seem to work normally.

Just a heads up for TB really ...

Istr he had a young (15 / 16 ?) Steve Winwood in his band, who went on to great things with Traffic Blind Faith and as a solo artist.

He also had a young lady vocalist by the name of Christine Perfect - who, as Christine McVie, became a core member of Fleetwood Mac as both a vocalist and keyboard player!!!

When my front ABS sensor failed the only way to sort it was a second-hand "hub" with the abs sensor in place.... it seems almost impossible to remove the sensor without destroying it.

Not bad .. bottles sold out within a week, just 6 "growlers" left .. good on Jason .. his beer is rather special I must admit.
