Bonsoir et merci à Serek
« on: 04 July 2017, 23:01:49 »

Bonsoir, mes amis, nous sommes maintenant rentrés des vacances en France et nous souhaitons remercier énormément à Serek :)

1576 miles of which 1232 were towing the tin tent, in temperatures of around 34 C, and we sat blissfully unaware with the cabin at 19 C :)

For the first time since 2008 I've not had to reset the EML when changing to French GPL (LPG)  :)

So, many, many thanks to Serek for his work on the aircon system and for moving the lambda's ... should have had it done years ago !!

At the ferry terminal :

Getting the Lambda's moved is one of the best tweaks to do on a 2.6 / 3.2 IMHO, takes a while getting used to the EML not coming on LOL.

I thought Mr E's omega had self levelling suspension, so I guess it will pump the back end up a bit when the engine is running  :-\

I assumed it was standard caravan loading..

Y'know - all the heavy stuff at the front, fill the boot of the car with the luggage.. ;) ;D

Then expect somebody else to sweep it off the motorway after  it all goes horribly wrong.

And yet it's how you see so many vans (mis)loaded :( Even the (modern) van I saw earlier today, being towed by a Triumph 2000 (or 2500 .. hard to tell at a distance). You'd think someone towing with something like that would know better..
